CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that plans can change unexpectedly, and we strive to be as accommodating as possible. However, to ensure fairness and maintain the integrity of our booking system, we have implemented a strict cancellation policy for our short-term rental properties.

Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.

HOUSE RULES

**Kitchen Use:**

- Clean up immediately after using the kitchen, including dishes, utensils, and countertops. Do not leave food inside the refrigerator or in other areas of the unit left behind after stay.

**Noise Levels:**

- Keep noise levels at a minimum, especially during hours later than 9:00 PM, to respect everyone's comfort.

- Keep the Living room TV at a moderate level as to not disturb other guests during hours later than 9:00 PM.

**Security and Safety:**

- Lock the front door and windows when leaving the property.

- Report any safety or security concerns to the host immediately.

**Smoking Policy:**

- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property.

**Communication:**

- Communicate openly with other guests and the host to address any concerns or issues promptly.

- Use messaging systems for non-emergency inquiries.

**Emergency Procedures:**

- Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures, including exit routes and the location of fire extinguishers under kitchen sink.

- Report any safety concerns or malfunctions immediately.

**Temperature Controls:**

- Be mindful of energy consumption by not excessively turning air lower than 60 degrees or higher than 75 degrees.

**Trash Disposal:**

- Dispose of trash in designated bins. Separate recyclables and follow local recycling guidelines.

- Take out the trash regularly to prevent odors and maintain cleanliness.

**Check-in and Check-out:**

- Follow the specified check-in (3:00 PM) and check-out (11:00 AM) times unless alternative arrangements have been made with the host.

**Guest Limit:**

- Adhere to the maximum guest limit specified in the booking. Additional guests may incur extra charges or result in eviction.

**No Parties or Events:**

- Hosting parties or events without explicit permission from the host is strictly prohibited.

**Pets:**

- Check with the host about the property's pet policy.

- If pets are allowed, follow any specified guidelines regarding their stay and clean up after them.

**Damages and Breakages:**

- Report any damages or breakages immediately to the host.

- Guests may be responsible for the cost of repairs or replacements for any damages caused during their stay.

**Cleanliness:**

- Leave the property in the same condition as when you arrived.

- Follow any check-out procedures provided by the host, including proper disposal of trash.

**Appliance Use:**

- Use all appliances, electronics, and amenities responsibly.

- Report any malfunctions or issues to the host promptly.

**Wi-Fi Usage:**

- Use the provided Wi-Fi responsibly and avoid engaging in activities that violate local laws or policies.

**Parking Guidelines:**

- Follow any specified parking guidelines provided by the host.

- Avoid blocking driveways or designated parking spaces.

**Guest Responsibility:**

- Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. The host is not liable for any lost or stolen items.

**Emergency Procedures:**

- Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures, including the location of fire extinguishers which are labeled in the unit. First aid kits are also located inside the unit.

These rules are intended to create a positive experience for both guests and hosts in a short-term rental setting.
